THE BRANDS OF ODISHA AWARD:

Since 2018, the leading vernacular daily of Odisha, SAMBAD, has been giving away Sambad Corporate Excellence Awards to corporate houses under the theme BRANDS OF ODISHA, PRIDE OF INDIA. Altogether 15 awards are given in five categories based on entries from potential Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), large, medium and small scale industries and business houses, including start-ups. The aim of this award is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of brands that have made significant contributions to the development of Odisha's economy and society.

Through the Brands of Odisha Award, the Sambad Group seeks to promote the best practices of the business community in Odisha and encourage them to continue their efforts towards building a better Odisha. This award aims to identify and honor those brands that have excelled in various fields such as innovation, growth, social responsibility, and customer satisfaction.

For the Award Ceremony of 2018, Mr Asit Pradhan, Managing Director of EMPOWERTRANS received the award in the MSME segment from the Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha, Sri Naveen Patnaik, at a glittering ceremony in the month of January, at Bhubameswar.
